Sakura encounters a variety of vivid and different characters along the road, each with their own special magical skills and characteristics.
4. Tokyo Revengers
The protagonist of Tokyo Revengers is Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old who has reached his lowest point. He lacks a job, a significant other, and a meaningful purpose in life. But when he finds out that Hinata Tachibana, his middle school girlfriend, has perished in a horrible accident, things take an abrupt and unexpected turn.
Takemichi learns that he can time travel back to his middle school years, right before Hinata’s passing, in the thick of his despair. He sees this as an opportunity to go back in time and save her life.
5. Junji Ito Maniac
The protagonist of Junji Ito Maniac is a high school student named Takuya who is a die-hard follower of Junji Ito’s horror manga. Takuya spends most of his leisure time reading Ito’s manga because he is enthralled by his sinister and gloomy tales.
Takuya learns one day that he has the capacity to join the Junji Ito manga universe. At first, he is ecstatic with this newfound ability and spends hours investigating the bizarre and terrifying settings of Ito’s novels.
Takuya quickly learns, though, that this power has a high cost. He becomes more and more detached from reality as he immerses himself in Ito’s manga.
